Simon is an MPsy Practicum Student at Adler Graduate Professional School, working under the supervision of Dr. Syb Pongracic. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queen’s University and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
Simon’s academic and professional background spans psychology, business, and diverse organizational settings. His experience working with individuals across these environments has given him insight into interpersonal dynamics, workplace stress, performance pressures, and the challenges that can accompany personal and professional transitions. These experiences have also shaped his interest in understanding what helps people build lives that feel meaningful, fulfilling, and aligned with their values. He brings this perspective into his clinical work with an appreciation for the different environments, relationships, goals, and life experiences that contribute to a person’s well-being.
Simon strives to create a therapeutic environment that is compassionate, supportive, authentic, and down-to-earth. He values building genuine relationships with clients and believes therapy can be both meaningful and approachable, incorporating warmth and appropriate humour where helpful.
Simon works with children, adolescents, and adults and takes an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring his work to the individual needs of each client. His clinical approach draws from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies.
