Matthew Walker has worked in the field of social work for the last 12 years in many different disciplines. His passion for supporting others was cemented at a young age, and he has worked with and counseled people with disabilities, students in a university setting, and those with addictions.
Matthew has his Masters of Education in Counselling from Acadia University and obtained his undergraduate degree at Nipissing University with a Specialization in Social Welfare and Social Development and a minor in Religion and Cultures. Matthew’s education, combined with my work, volunteer, and life experience, has given me a knowledge base to support other people and understand their needs, trauma, and their overall mental health.
