Learning Strategists

  1. Calm Water Learning (Virtual): Coaching for ADHD/ADD and academic/learning strategy sessions for accommodations planning and learning support. Janice and Mansoor work with parents and individuals ages 12+ years, with or without a disability.
  2. Literacy Therapeutic learning Centres (Toronto and Virtual): Nina Kee is a certified Orton Gillingham Practitioner. She and her team provide lessons to children with dyslexia and general difficulties with reading/spelling. 
  3. Aristos Education Services (Hamilton and Virtual): Dr Michael Bruder and his team of trained coaches provide 1:1 sessions to children, adolescents, and adults to create support programs addressing learning disabilities and executive function deficits.

Coaching

  1. I Heart U Parent Coaching (Virtual): Alison Macklin is a Certified Hand in Hand Parenting Instructor who provides a 2-week program for parents to provide 1:1 coaching and create a plan for their family's needs.

  1. Parnell Psychology (Midland): Natalie Parnell is a Clinical and School Psychologist with a team of clinicians providing assessments, therapy and workshops for parents and educators to support children's education.
  2. In Support of Children Counselling (Wasaga Beach): Wendy Hunter is a Registered Psychotherapist, Child Counsellor, and Parenting Coach. She offers support to children, adolescents, and families. 
  3. Healing Roots Therapy (Mississauga and Virtual): Monique Lucas is a Registered Psychotherapist at Healing Roots Therapy. Her and her team of clinicians provide counselling to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
  4. Positive Kids (Mississauga and Toronto): Counsellors at Positive Kids use a model called LEPS (Learning, Emotional, Parenting, Socialization) to provide ADHD treatment to children and families and address issues in these four areas.
  5. Aware Within (Collingwood): Michele Wolf is a Registered Psychotherapist addressing issues like anxiety, stress, trauma, and the unique challenges experienced by women.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Services

  1. Clearview Behavioural Solutions (Toronto, Mississauga, Peel, Halton, York, Virtual): Therapists and Behavioural Analysts at Clearview Behavioural Solutions provide home-based Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy, parent coaching, support groups, and respite services for ASD.
  2. ASD Diagnostic Hub (Simcoe, York, Dufferin, Halton, Peel, Waterloo Region, Wellington County): With a referral from their family doctor, your child can be added to the waitlist for a free ASD assessment in specified regions.
  3. Positive Behavior Supports Corporation (PBS) (Across Ontario): Board Certified Behavioural Analysts and Therapists at PBS provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children under the age of 18 in the home, school, and community.

Forensic Psychologists

  1. Drummond Psychological Services (Brampton, Richmond Hill, Virtual): : Dr. Rudolph Drummond is a Registered Psychologist specializing in forensic psychology, counselling psychology, and clinical psychology with adolescents, adults, and families.
  2. Goldenson Clinical and Forensic Psychology (Toronto): Dr. Julie Goldenson is a Registered Clinical and Forensic Psychologist offering comprehensive treatment and assessment services to adolescents and adults in the GTA.

Speech-Language Pathology and Physiotherapy

Community Resources

  1. Everlove (Collingwood): The Everlove team provides a range of services including yoga, personal training, pilates, massage, acupuncture, osteopathy, and facials. One of the leaders, Dan, runs a weekly in-person men's circle for men to share their experiences and grow in a supportive environment.
