What is Autism?
Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviours, speech and nonverbal communication.
Because autism is a spectrum disorder, each person with autism has a distinct set of strengths and challenges. The ways in which people with autism learn, think and problem-solve can range from highly skilled to severely challenged.

Child ASD Assessments
Autism assessments can provide insight into your child's behavioural, social, and sensory needs, and give them skills to pursue their goals. Our assessments are designed to provide valuable insights into your child’s capabilities and determining whether your child has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), allowing us to tailor treatment recommendations that maximizes their potential.
What does an Autism Assessment look at?
An autism assessment is a comprehensive evaluation process that helps identify and diagnose ASD. It involves testing and gathering information about the following to determine whether your child meets the criteria for ASD and other DSM-5 diagnoses.
- Adaptive functioning
