Experience:

I am a Registered Psychologist who has worked 8 years in the field of mental health within various roles, including community based and non-profit programming. Over the years, I have become passionate about working with youth and adults who have experienced grief/loss, intergenerational trauma, racial trauma, sexual violence, domestic violence, and addiction. I believe as a client you have your own narratives, strengths, and resources to heal in your own way; and my goal as a therapist, is to support you while also teaching you new approaches that will help you learn to heal psychologically, physically and spiritually.

As a certified Level 2 Sensorimotor therapist, I have gained specific skills and a solid framework in understanding developmental, relational, and traumatic based experiences which has been foundational in my work with clients. This framework includes a variety of techniques that acknowledges the body as a major component in the healing experience, not just our mind and our thoughts. I am also a firm believer that healing takes a great deal of time, patience and dedication, it’s not a quick fix. So, if that feels like something you are looking for I would be more than happy to connect with you for a free consultation to see if we may be a fit!
