
Michelle Harrison is a Psychological Associate in supervised practice under Dr. Syb Pongracic offering counselling and assessment services.
Michelle earned her honours degree in psychology from York University and completed her master’s degree in counselling psychology at McGill University. With a decade of experience, she has had the privilege of working with diverse clients in various settings, including the school board, private practice, an ADHD clinic, and a university counselling centre.
Michelle works with adult individuals using a collaborative, integrative, and client-centered approach. She draws from various therapeutic modalities and has received additional training in EMDR, narrative therapy, and EFT. Her journey into psychology was inspired by her own experiences with mental health challenges during her adolescence and early adulthood. This personal connection fuels her dedication to help others find resilience and strength in their experiences. Believing that therapy is most effective when tailored to each person’s unique needs, Michelle actively seeks feedback from her clients to ensure they feel heard and their goals are met, adjusting her approach as needed. Additionally, she is committed to providing multiculturally competent counselling services that honours diverse worldviews and identities.
